Holy Cross Family Ministries in Canada

The celebration began with the Marian Procession and everyone gathered in the Church to recite the Living Rosary. Since Toronto is a home where people from all countries of the world gather, people were asked to come to the altar and recite the Rosary in their own languages. It was beautiful to see children, adults, and the elderly together praying the Rosary as one family, yet speaking many languages.

The Mass was celebrated by Most Rev. Archbishop James MacDonald, CSC, who personally met Fr. Patrick Peyton and shared his experience of Praying the Rosary in the family. The Native Elders were present, leading the ceremony of purification. Everyone prayed for Fr. Wilson Andrade, CSC as he began the Holy Cross Family Ministries in Canada.

The celebration continued at the parish hall, as nearly 200 people gathered for fellowship and a video presentation on the life of Fr. Patrick Peyton. Fr. Wilson explained the plan of action of how we can promote Family Rosary in Canada.
